Sailing is a song by BE:FIRST that serves as the ending theme for Special Edited Version - One Piece: Fish-Man Island Saga . It was digitally released November 4, 2024.Spacecraft / Sailing releasing February 5, 2025.
Background and Release [ ] On August 11, 2024 at the ONE PIECE DAY '24 SPECIAL LIVE it was announced BE:FIRST would be providing the next ending theme for the popular anime One Piece . This would be the group's second tie-up with the franchise after their song Set Sail , which was used to promote the One Piece Card Game .
On October 13 it was announced the ending theme was titled Sailing and would be for the Special Edited Version - One Piece: Fish-Man Island Saga , a condensed and remastered version of Fish-Man Island Saga .
"The new song Sailing is the ending theme song for the TV anime Special Edited Version - One Piece: Fish-Man Island Saga ... a compilation of all 57 episodes of One Piece (the Fish-Man Island Arc) reshot with the latest technology, and condensed into 21 episodes. Sailing was produced by Chaki Zulu and co-written by Satoru Kurihara (Jazzin'park), keyboard player Atsushi Inoue, and SKY-HI . SOTA , SHUNTO , and RYUHEI from BE:FIRST , who are enthusiastic One Piece fans, also participated in writing the lyrics. The song combines a funky and danceable track with a melodic yet powerful top line, lyrics that contrast the story of One Piece with the band's journey so far, and the delicate yet powerful singing voices of the seven members. It is a positive and refreshing song that fully expresses the 'BE:FIRST-ism' of enjoying and riding out even troubles with the motto, 'Let's turn any storm into a tailwind.'" [ 1] Track Listing [ ]
