LIGHTNING is a song by MAZZEL. It is the second track from their second single Carnival. It was digitally released on August 14, 2023.
It is the sixth track on their first album Parade released on March 20, 2024.

Background and Release

On July 28, 2023 it was announced MAZZEL would be releasing their second CD single, Carnival, on October 18, 2023 with the b-side LIGHTNING getting a digital pre-release on August 14.

The song was described as: "A Latin-based hip-hop number, suitable for MAZZEL's first summer since their debut. With its solid rap and melody on top of a light Latin beat created by congas and guiro, the song brings out a new charm in MAZZEL."
