Koe (声; The Voice) is a song by BMSG trainees RUI and KANON. It was digitally released on August 21, 2023.

Background and Release

Koe was co-written by RUI and KANON and first performed when they appeared as part of the opening act for the final show of SKY-HI ARENA TOUR 2023 -BOSSDOM- on June 18, 2023.

The song resurfaced when they performed it again at the July/August BMSG TRAINEE Showcase 2023.

On August 18 it was announced the duet would get a digital release on August 21.

The song has been described as follows: "Koe is a ballad number by RUI・KANON set to a superb mellow R&B track by UTA (TinyVoice,Production), one of Japan's leading music producers.
The lyrics and melodies created by the duo on the theme of human bonds, and the expressive vocals with comfortable high tones are fused together in this gem of a song.
This is also the first release for KANON, who not only sang but also had a hand in the songwriting demonstrating his skill and musical sense."
