KAIRYU (カイリュウ), birth name Obayashi Kairyu (大林海龍), is a Japanese singer and dancer under Japanese management company BMSG as a member of boy group MAZZEL, formed through documentary program MISSIONx2. He made his debut with the group in May 2023.
Before joining BMSG, Kairyu took part in audition program THE FIRST, where he made top 30 and was afterwards eliminated. However, he later contacted SKY-HI to send him his covers, original songs and dancing progress and was thus offered a trainee contract.

During 2020, Kairyu spent 6 months training in a Korean company in South Korea.
In early 2021, he took part in THE FIRST, where he made it to the Top 30.
Around September 2021, he joined the BMSG Trainees , but his status was undisclosed until January 2023.
During 2022, he took part in MISSIONx2 as a pre-debut member of MAZZEL.
2023[]
On January 13, he was revealed to be a member of MAZZEL.
On March 31, MAZZEL released their pre-debut single MISSION.
On May 17, MAZZEL released their debut single Vivid.

In March 2019, Kairyu graduated from high school.
