JUST BREATHE is SKY-HI 's 15th digital single and his first release of 2022. It is a collaboration with 3RACHA, the three member rap and producer unit from popular K-Pop group Stray Kids . It was later included as the seventh track on his album THE DEBUT , which was released on December 12, 2022.
Background and release [ ] Background [ ] SKY-HI was contacted by 3RACHA around May or June of 2021. They had a first remote meeting to discuss what they would like to do. After that, SKY-HI worked on the track with producer UTA and sent 3RACHA a draft, which they worked on together throughout two or three remote meetings. [1]

On February 15, 2022, both SKY-HI Staff and Stray Kids posted on their twitter accounts hints at some sort of collaboration happening on February 21. Based on the emojis used, fans easily deduced SKY-HI and 3RACHA would be releasing a song together.
The speculation was confirmed true on February 18th when the title was revealed.
3RACHA consists of members Bang Chang, Changbin, and Han who are charge of writing, composing, and producing Stray Kids' songs. This is the trio's first release under the name "3RACHA from Stray Kids."[2]
The collaboration came together when 3RACHA reached out to SKY-HI asking to work with him.
The track was created by renowned producer UTA, while the lyrics and top line were created by SKY-HI, Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han. JUST BREATHE is described as "A fusion of technical and emotional raps in Japanese, Korean, and English on a track that changes from one development to the next. In their own styles, they express 'the reason why I am who I am' in an intensely, sometimes admonishingly way, and inspire the feelings of people living in this age that tends to be confined."[3]
On October 14, the Music Video won the Best Hip Hop Video Award in the MTV Video Music Awards Japan 2022, and was therefore nominated for Video of the Year[4]
