J.O.K.E.R. is a song by MAZZEL. It is the second track from their upcoming EP Royal Straight Flush. It was digitally released February 17, 2025 ahead of the EP's CD release on April 16.

Background and Release

Prior to the announcement of its release, J.O.K.E.R. first appeared January 14, 2025 as a song used for the JOKER dance challenge created by dancer/choreographer KAITA, which began getting buzz on SNS. Although no artist was mentioned, the voices on the track were immediately recognized as MAZZEL.
This method of releasing the song as a dance challenge before being announced had been used once before with BE:FIRST's Boom Boom Back.

On January 24, it was revealed the song is a new track from MAZZEL's first EP Royal Straight Flush, which will have a CD release on April 16.
J.O.K.E.R. was also announced as the theme song for the Tokyu Fudosan Holdings Breaking World Match 2025 tournament for which the group have been named special supporters.

J.O.K.E.R. was written by SKY-HI and LOAR (INIMI) together with Taka Perry, an Australian-Japanese music producer who has worked on songs for various artists both in Japan and overseas. "The song features highly skilled dancing and provocative lyrics that celebrate competition and tactics. It is sprinkled with the members' trump card skills and is like a gambler playing the ace up his sleeve from the very start, making it a song that gives you anticipation for the unimaginable developments to come. The choreography for this work was done by KAITA, the leader of Japan's leading dance team Rht."
