Bye-Good-Bye is a song by BE:FIRST. It is the title track in their second single Bye-Good-Bye and the fifteenth track in their first album BE:1. It was pre-released digitally on March 7, 2022.
It was used as the opening theme song of NTV ZIP! morning drama Sayounara no Sono Mae ni, as well as a CM song for Canellétte.

On February 7, one week after Brave Generation's release, Bye-Good-Bye was announced as the main song for the second single. It had been performed on January 29-30 at THE FIRST FINAL, although no details about the song were provided at the time.
On February 8, morning news program ZIP! announced Bye-Good-Bye would be the theme song for their morning drama Sayounara no Sono Mae ni airing weekdays from March 1 - 31, 2022, however no release date for the single was given.
Finally, on February 28, on BE:FIRST no SPARK, it was announced the song would have an advanced digital release March 7, with a CD release May 18.
This "positive goodbye song" was composed by SKY-HI and Chaki Zulu, a producer who has worked with a variety of artists, both major and underground, within various genres. Lyrics were written by SKY-HI and sty, who has written many hit songs.[1] Chaki Zulu and sty had both previously worked with SKY-HI during THE FIRST to write the song "Be Free."
On April 6, it was revealed that the song would be used in a Canellétte commercial campaign, in which BE:FIRST would be starring themselves.
On May 12, 2023, BE:FIRST appeared on renowned YouTube channel THE FIRST TAKE and performed a newly arranged, funk-style version of Bye-Good-Bye.

  • Following Shining One and Gifted., Bye-Good-Bye is BE:FIRST's third single to win two Oricon digital ranking titles within the same week making them the first artist in history to do so.[39]
  • In addition to placing #1 in the overall Billboard Japan Hot 100, Bye-Good-Bye took first place in each of the categories it charted in: Downloads, Streaming, Radio, Twitter mentions, YouTube, and Buzz.[40]
  • The boys could not learn Bye-Good-Bye's choreography directly from Quick Style, as they could not get to Japan, so they had to learn from reference videos the group sent them. [41]
  • The boys had to learn the choreography in three days in order to perform the song for the first time at THE FIRST FINAL. [42]
