Boom Boom Back is BE:FIRST 's 3rd digital single, released on February 13, 2023. It had a TikTok / Instagram pre-release on January 27, 2023. It was later included as track #2 in the group's 3rd CD single, Smile Again .2:BE .
Background and Release [ ] BE:FIRST promoting Boom Boom Back
The song was initially hinted at on January 6, 2023 by choreographer KAITA on his TikTok and Instagram accounts, when he uploaded a video of a "#BBBChallenge" using its chorus, without revealing the artist. Fans quickly recognized the members' voices, but nothing was officially confirmed until January 26 when Boom Boom Back was first performed during the BE:FIRST 1st One Man Tour “BE:1” 2022-2023 at Yoyogi National Stadium, where its digital release and pre-release were announced.
On March 1, 2023 it was announced that the song would be used as the March ending theme for NTV morning show Sukkiri. [ 1] thematic exhibition was held from March 10 to March 21 2023, immersing the visitors in the Music Video's world. It showcased photos, videos, sets and prop pieces.[ 2]
