| BMSG Trainees |
BMSG Trainees (BMSG トレーニー, stylized as "BMSG TRAINEE") is a collection of young men selected through auditions, or added specially by SKY-HI, who are receiving dancing, singing, rapping and acting lessons, as well as pursuing various activities, in preparation for their eventual debut as BMSG artists.
Disclosed trainees are considered full members of BMSG and are included in all company-wide activities. They can also get individual activities, such as modeling, acting, guest performing in other BMSG artists' concerts, and even releasing music under their own name. Undisclosed trainees, on the other hand, devote their time to training only and are not known to the public.

Training Method[]
Trainees receive vocal lessons from the teachers at PACE School (including RyonRyon), as well as dance lessons from both in-house teachers, such as Money and SOTA, and guest teachers, like Honoka Shima. They also receive acting lessons. [2]
The company is also interested in helping its trainees become better human beings, since developing different aspects of the self aids in becoming a better artist. In order to do that, different aspects of the trainees' development are explored through various activities not related to performing, such as studying English song lyrics, art appreciation, reading comprehension and discussion, and debates on topics ranging from the music industry to social issues.
The trainees' formal education is also of utmost importance, and it's prioritized at all times.
BMSG's policy is to "work together to find the best shape for each artist's life"[3]. This means that each member is asked to think about the artist that he is today, and the artist he wants to be, and SKY-HI will help him find a balance between both. No one has a pre-determined path or future, changing their minds about what they want to do is possible and the company will try its best to accomodate their wishes and needs.
History[]
2021: Establishment[]
The BMSG trainee branch, BMSG Trainees, was established on August 13, 2021, when THE FIRST Audition came to an end. Finalists RAN and REIKO were offered trainee contracts along with 11th placer RUI, who had been extended the same proposal when he was eliminated in the previous round, aired on July 23. Later on, on August 24, edhiii boi was offered an artist contract, but he was still considered a part of the trainees.
In September, KAIRYU joined the Trainees, but he remained undisclosed until January 2023.
In September, October and November, RAN was part of the musical "SING!!!" as the male lead.
In October, REIKO, RUI and edhiii boi were featured on songs from SKY-HI's album Hachimenroppi.
In November, SEITO joined the Trainees, but he remained undisclosed until January 2023.
In November and December, RAN and REIKO participated in talk events for Tommy Hilfiger Japan and modeled for a special collaboration capsule.
2022[]
BMSG Trainees with SKY-HI, June 2022
On January 12, edhiii boi made his debut.
On January 14 and 15, RAN and REIKO performed in the musical "SING!!!".
On January 29 and 30, RAN, REIKO and RUI performed in THE FIRST FINAL concert.
In February, March and April, REIKO performed as one of the opening acts during the SKY-HI HALL TOUR 2022 -Hachimenroppi-. RUI and edhiii boi were also featured as guests for the Tokyo dates.
On April 8, TAIKI was introduced as the newest member of the trainees during the BMSG Artist Showcase 2022, where RUI and edhiii boi also performed. Later that month, RUI and TAIKI were guests at edhiii boi's Amazon Music BREAKTHROUGH JAPAN Live.
On July 2, edhiii boi, RUI and TAIKI released the split EP 15th Dream.
In July, August and September, edhiii boi, RUI and TAIKI were opening acts for the SKY-HI HALL TOUR 2022 -Cho Hachimenroppi-. They also joined SKY-HI as his guests for many of his summer festival performances.
On September 17 and 18, all four trainees and edhiii boi performed at the BMSG FES '22, and were therefore part of the BMSG ALLSTARS line-up that released New Chapter.
On October 14, the BMSG Shinki Renshuusei Audition, an audition looking for new trainees, was announced.
On October 30, KANON joined the trainees after making it to the finals of MISSIONx2 and getting a contract offer, but remained undisclosed until April 2023.
On November 22, RAN was announced to be a part of upcoming boy group MAZZEL, formed through documentary program MISSIONx2, therefore leaving the trainees. The show would also feature REIKO, who was not in the final lineup.
In December, the "BMSG TRAINEE Xmas" was celebrated, with the release of a new REIKO cover and an Anytime, Anywhere extended cut.
2023[]
On January 13, KAIRYU and SEITO were revealed as members of MAZZEL, and their trainee status was disclosed.
During February and March, REIKO took part in the D.U.N.K. project and its showcase.
On April 3, KANON was revealed to be a trainee.
In May and June all trainees performed as opening acts during the SKY-HI ARENA TOUR 2023 -BOSSDOM-.
